Students will do many small projects, such as design an audio signal spectrum analyzer by Matlab, and build a blood pulse measurement system. 何岭松，华中科技大学机械科学与工程学院教授，国家级教学名师。1993年11月华中科技大学获博士学位。教学方面，主要从事机械工程测试技术类课程的教学工作，主持《工程测试技术基础》国家精品课程和《工程测试与信息处理》国家精品课程（网络）。科研方面，主要从事计算机虚拟仪器技术研究工作。主持了国家自然科学基金项目、863计划项目、国家科技攻关项目等多项国家级项目，获专利和软件著作权10项，发表论文50多篇。
冯搏，博士，华中科技大学讲师，硕士生导师。2011年7月毕业于北京师范大学物理系，获物理学专业学士学位，2016年6月毕业于华中科技大学机械学院，获测试计量技术及仪器专业博士学位，2016年9月至2019年9月在里斯本大学从事博士后研究工作。主要研究领域为无损检测新方法与仪器、信号处理算法和机器学习方法。
